Last week, it was suspicious when Bruce Willis, who had already been filming, dropped out of Woody Allen’s next film for “scheduling” reasons which leads many to believe he was fired. Allen didn’t waste any time filling the role by finally getting around to working with Steve Carell, an actor who is decidedly not Bruce Willis.
He joins a pretty great cast that includes Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeannie Berlin, Corey Stoll, Anna Camp, and Paul Schneider. As with every move Woody Allen makes, details about the film are unknown except that it won’t involve Bruce Willis. (Variety)
